vermont service medals

                         In 1999, the Vermont legislators were presented with a bill                                        that would create two special medals to be given to Vermont                                        Veterans.   Our state council totally supported this bill thru both                                        the house and senate.  It passed and finally this spring of 2002                                        the medals were casted and here on this page are the pictures                                        of the two medals and then the form page that you need to fill                                        out and mail into the State Veterans Affairs office.

                                                The pictured Bronze medal above is the Vermont Veterans Medal (front and                                                 back).   The form you can find on this page will inform you on whom is able to                                                 receive this medal.

                                                 Pictured above is the Silver Vermont Distinguished Srevice Medal.   The                                                 form you can find on this page will inform you on whom is able to receive this                                                 medal.
