Even before the last combat veteran left in 1973 or the last American personnel left in 1975 we were asking our government "what about our POW/MIA's". Today 26 years later we still are asking our government "what about our POW/MIA's" and as long as we are alive till the last man we will keep after our government until they all come home. Since 1973 - 593 of our fellow brothers have been found and returned home to their families. Still over 1990 more are still listed as POW/MIA's.
Of the 1990 still missing - 636 from the army - 406 from the navy - 252 - from the marine - 656 from the air force - 1 from the coast guard - 39 civilians.

On April 7, 2001, we lost seven brave America's brothers who were in Vietnam looking for our missing brothers. They went down in a helicopter crash on there way to view a possible site. On behalf of our Vermont State Council and our seven chapter's we want to express our deepest condolences to the families. And be sure as long as we are alive so will they.
